Wacky Wednesday
Today is going to be a random thought day.
- This morning, I killed a spider. It came down from the ceiling tiles in my office area and landed on my desk. Spiders are not my friends. They may eat flies and other smaller insects, but I want to get them before they try and get me! It was a big one too!
- I have a ton to do before band camp. I have to wash some clothes, pack, get a few snacks, find the sheets and sleeping bags.
- Thanks to all of you who have decided to follow me or at least made a comment on one of my blogs. I am trying to get back to each of you, but it's not easy.
- I started a new book last night. It's about Sean and Lee Anne Tuohy's philosphy of cheerfully giving and why they opened their homes to kids and especially Michael Oher.
I'm on chapter three and it is amazing! I totally recommend it.
- I am also reading same kind of different as me. ( I will be blogging on this when I finish it).
So here is something new I want to start.
What's in Your Purse Wednesday
Post a picture of the contents in your purse and list them. You might be surprised what you find.
Can you believe this? Just from this picture I see...
Wallet
Scrabble Cheezits
Rainbow Cookies
Checkbook
Receipt
an Umbrella (yellow)
Pill bottle
a book
keys
Can you find anything? This doesn't even count the business cards, pens, makeup bag, candy, lotion and whatever. What is the strangest thing in your purse today? Let me know!
One of my followers adores the book about the Oher family and has been having give-aways for copies. She has recommended it several times.
ReplyDeleteUh, I'll have to check out my purse. I hate to think of all the things (specifically) that's in there. Some of your spider relatives could be there. I can never keep mine organized.
Hi! I'm here from iFellowship Wednesday and your "what's in your purse" idea made me realize I keep a ton of things in my bag! But I can't do without any of them - wallet, cellphone, small makeup kit with lipsticks and pressed powder, hand sanitizer, hand lotion and sunglasses!
ReplyDeleteThe strangest thing I can find is Vasoline :). Only because I had my teeth re-done a few years ago and heard if one pops off (caps) that vasoline will hold it on until I can get to the dentist.
ReplyDeleteHowdy! I am your newest follower!
ReplyDeleteMy purse contents vary... but there is ALWAYS some type of snack in there, and my camera, and my GPS, and gum. Never money though. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI also have an award for you over at my place!!

Hello! Following you from Welcome Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI have spent the past 3 weeks trying to find the perfect new purse because mine is driving me crazy... Right now, I can't find a darn thing... Wallet, keys, camera, cell phone, sunglasses, a stack of unpaid bills, receipts, cigarettes, lighters, unused coupons, medicine, a dog leash, makeup pouch, pens, hair clips, and a business card holder... Scary thing is, the purse just isn't that big... and it's making me insane.

First of all you said band camp, that always tickles my funny bone. My purse, what's not in there? I think the weirdest thing is the Sara Palin condom my friend gave me as a joke. My daughter checks everyday to make sure it's still in there. I'm not sure why I have it.....
ReplyDeleteThank You so much for stopping by my blog, I'm running late saying hello. I am so glad you found me, however, as you have such great detail and ideas on your blog. I'm following you and please know I'll be stopping by. Good night and have a great rest of the week if I don't see you.

I saw the tv interview of the Tuohy family. the parents talked about the book you are mentioning. It should be good. The movie, The Blindside was one of my favorite movies. I hate spiders. can't thinkof anything weird in my pusre, just the normal things. Rose
ReplyDeleteOh I hate spiders... I always have to scream while killing it... and then call my mom after I flush it down the drain!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting...
All the best,
Kim
